Short Cutscene Unlocked during Rest Phase (Artifact of the Blue Wisp Equipped)
Artemis gazed upon the flickering flame, pondering over whether if she should eat the small piece of cinnamon bun she had kept in her bag for the longest of time. She liked the sweet delicate treat but she was reluctant to share it, and even if she refused to share, it would most likely affect the morale for everyone to see her happily eating something other than a chunk of slob Hunter had prepped and cooked. “Why aren’t you eating Artemis? Afraid of a little poisoning?”, Hunter jokingly asked. “I would rather eat poison than your cooking…”, she said to him, eyes closed and proudly sips her cup of tea. “Artemis, I swear it’s good.” Michael said, happily eating his plentiful bowl of soup. “I agree and suggest that you take a few spoonful of it as tomorrow we may never cease to eat ever again.” Theodore added. Everyone seemed to enjoy each other’s company and it helped eased the tense atmosphere inside the dungeon. A few hours after the campfire went unlit, Artemis was cautiously trying to reach for her bag, trying to sneak a bite out of the loaf she brought with her. A few moments of silence as she tried used her magic to mentally locate her bag out of the pitch-black darkness. As she was about to reach her bag, she then realized that her bag was not where she had placed it earlier. She then used her arcane magic to temporarily disconnect her soul from her physical body to be able to search for her missing bag without the constraints of the darkness. She then notice strange markings of ancient language, emitting in blue colors. She could not quite understand it but decides to follow the path of where it leads to. At the end of the markings, she the deciphers a code written in a distinguishable Arcane Invocation. “Luminus Esaralea”, she whispers under her voiceless unattached soul and was swallowed by an enormous amount of light. She then woke up suddenly, breathing heavily as she had just felt a rush of blood flowing through her veins rapidly. Michael sat up and woke up to the sound of her gasping for air and asked, “What’s wrong Artemis?”. Artemis shook her head and gave him a re-assuring look, telling him that he is okay. “Alright then, go back to sleep, Hunter’s going light up the torchlight to wake us up tomorrow. For now, just sleep it off.” Artemis just then realized something after his words. She looked across the room and examined everything to confirm that she wasn’t dreaming. She blinked and upon realizing that she could see clearly in the dark, she internally screamed and just decided to close her eyes. She had enough shenanigans to deal with for the night.
