Random Walker
Honestly, out of all the sketches I made for this assignment, this is the most generic. I was able to implement the random walker through the same process that was taught in the previous class. What I did to make my random walker a bit different is I added random streaks of colors that will depend whether if it hits a certain color in a spectrum. It looks like the program is creating it's own abstract sketch and I kind of like it the way it is.
At first, what I did was that the random walker would be in a pinwheel position because I have translated the line to a certain part of the space and decided to change it after having it stay that way momentarily. Either way, I think both sketches look great even if the other one didn't make it into the final output.
Bar Chart Bonanza
For this sketch, I have put my heart into it. My vision was to create a city night sky with a moon and a couple of stars in the sky. I did not really encounter any problems with the sketch asides from the fact that I have to check manually for the position of the moon. This was the prettiest sketch I made for this project (either this one of the starry night) and I think I could do better sketches in the future!
Drawing with Chaos
I had so much fun making these sketches! I originally plan to make three sketches that will showcase only one function for each sketch but I ended up making all three sketches with all three functions applied. My first sketch is the stich sketch where it was originally my idea to make an abstract art similar to action painting-references will be included below. I was able to apply the three functions in this sketch and it was pretty much the easiest out of the three. The next sketch I made was the night sky sketch where it is inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. I was supposed to make randomWalkers for it but I lacked time to do so and just sticked with what I made. It was the most intensive out of all three as I don't know where to apply the perlin noise so I just made mountains to compensate for it and I also found out accidentally that perlin noise can also randomize a position of an object each run so I have applied it to one of the elements-the moon. Lastly, the colored shapes sketch! It was supposed to be a grid-like abstract art. However, as I was doing the process, I figured out I'd make something similar to what you see on a koleidoscope. I didn't have a lot of problems with this assignment, because I really like this class and I love making art! The concepts are pretty easy to understand too and I think the reason why it took me hours to make these because I put so much effort into it because I like it so much!
